The Design Approach
From the moment you enter Thermo Fisher Taiwan, the space tells a story. Silver tones evoke a sense of precision and innovation, while vibrant tangerine accents bring energy and warmth. This visual contrast mirrors the company’s dual focus: cutting-edge science and dynamic teamwork.

NOVAH’s planning centered around a concept of “order within openness”—blending dynamic workstations, intelligent storage, and acoustic solutions to create zones for deep focus, casual collaboration, and structured meetings.

Key Features & Solutions
1. Smart Workstations for Agile Productivity
To support both focused work and spontaneous interaction, NOVAH deployed a hybrid system of Dyna 2 sit-stand desks, Cluster layouts, and honeycomb screen partitions. The honeycomb structure offers visual and acoustic privacy when seated, while allowing easy communication when standing—enabling seamless shifts between concentration and collaboration.

The Dyna 2 height-adjustable desks include intelligent safety sensors, allowing for effortless transitions between sitting and standing while protecting users and nearby equipment. This ergonomic solution promotes circulation, comfort, and mental alertness throughout the day.

2. Collaborative Zones That Fuel Innovation
Collaboration is at the heart of Thermo Fisher’s culture, and NOVAH brought it to life through a mix of casual and structured spaces. Informal break areas blend orange accents and greenery to foster relaxed conversations. Modular collaboration pods support private discussions and team huddles within open spaces.

The Nobius Soundproof Phone Booth serves as an invisible collaboration hub—acoustically sealed, tech-integrated, and available in multiple configurations for solo calls, one-on-ones, or small meetings. Its presence enhances privacy without compromising the openness of the floor plan.

3. Smart Storage for a Hybrid Workforce
To solve the challenges of locker management in a hybrid workplace, NOVAH installed the Morph Smart Locker system. The solution offers keyless access via employee cards, bilingual interfaces, and centralized admin controls—all without the need for a network connection.

Beyond convenience, Morph unlocks efficiency. Admins can assign multiple lockers, track usage data, and streamline locker allocation—all from an intuitive interface. In Thermo Fisher’s data-driven culture, the Morph system elevates storage from passive function to active space optimization.

4. Flexible Spaces That Adapt to Every Need
Training and meeting rooms were equipped with Tyro modular tables, allowing rapid reconfiguration from roundtable discussions to full-scale workshops. The Design Approach
Spanning over 5,000 m², CHAGEE’s new headquarters redefines what a healthy, high-performance workplace looks like. NOVAH approached the project with one clear philosophy: support every employee—mind, body, and workflow. From the selection of height-adjustable desks to the thoughtful arrangement of collaborative zones, every element was engineered to elevate the day-to-day experience.

The environment not only encourages movement and collaboration but also offers acoustic privacy, ergonomic comfort, and spatial flexibility—ensuring every employee has a place to think, speak, and create.

Key Features & Solutions
1. Wellness-Centered Workstations
Health is at the core of CHAGEE’s office culture, and the Dyna2 Height-Adjustable Workstations reflect that vision. Employees can effortlessly shift between sitting and standing, helping improve circulation, reduce fatigue, and maintain focus throughout the day.

Hot-desking areas also feature Dyna2 stations, paired with Morph Smart Lockers for secure, flexible storage. Lockers can be reserved directly via mobile phone, giving employees seamless, keyless access to personal storage that adapts to their hybrid work schedules.

2. Acoustic Pods for Undisturbed Focus
The open-plan layout is complemented by Nobius Soundproof Phone Booths, which act as quiet zones for video calls, teleconferencing, or focused solo work. These pods are strategically placed to isolate noise and distractions, ensuring both privacy and productivity—even in high-traffic areas.

3. Collaborative Spaces That Spark Energy
Throughout the space, island-style standing tables promote quick brainstorming and active discussion—encouraging movement, creativity, and informal exchange. No chairs needed. Paired with floor-to-ceiling windows and balcony access, these zones invite both sunlight and spontaneity.

Lounge areas are designed with elegance and relaxation in mind, featuring FourSure 105 chairs and FourResting tables, where aesthetics and comfort meet. These soft social zones become natural gathering points for cross-functional teams and casual conversation.
